Community Guidelines

We created these Community Guidelines (these “Community Guidelines”) to support our mission of creating a respectful environment for users of the Services. These Community Guidelines apply to your use of the Services, including as a Leader, Supporter or other user.

Our Terms of Service(the “Terms”) also have specific rules of conduct and other restrictions that users must abide by when using the Services. As a condition to use the Services, you agree to abide by both these Community Guidelines and the Terms. In the event of any conflict between the Terms and these Community Guidelines, the Terms will supersede and control. All capitalized terms used but not defined in these Community Guidelines have the respective meanings set forth in the Terms.

Be Yourself. We do not allow fake Leaders or Supporters. Do not provide misleading or deceptive information about yourself or use any image that is not your likeness for your profile photo. Do not use or attempt to use another Leader’s or Supporter’s Account, create an Account for anyone other than yourself or share your Account with anyone else.

Respect Other Users. Do not harass, bully, impersonate or intimidate anyone in our community, and do not promote or participate in hate speech. We will not tolerate users who harass, threaten violence, or use hate speech against other users or community members. We will not tolerate harassment or speech that constitutes discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, age or disability.

Ensure Your Content is Appropriate. The Services are for Leaders to promote legitimate causes representing real world issues and for Supporters to rally behind those causes. Accordingly, we may remove content that does not relate to legitimate causes. Do not post spam, pornography or excessively violent content. Do not post information that you know to be false or misleading, and do not promote frauds or scams.

Be Ethical and Law-Abiding. Do not post any content that is defamatory, obscene or invasive of anyone’s privacy or publicity rights. Do not infringe or misappropriate anyone’s intellectual property rights, and do not incite, organize, promote or facilitate violence or criminal activities, promote violent or discriminatory organizations or violate any applicable law or regulation.

If You See a Problem, Flag it. Each Leader and Supporter is an important part of the community. When you see bad behavior by other users, please flag it to hello@sway.app. We reserve the right to respond to your flags by taking action against offending content in our sole discretion and pursuant to the Terms and these Community Guidelines.

If you violate these Community Guidelines, we may remove offending content or terminate or suspend your Account, and we reserve the right to take any action that we may deem appropriate in response to a violation or suspected violation of these Community Guidelines. These Community Guidelines may be updated from time to time, in which case we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of these Community Guidelines.
